New York, NY, Dec 3, 2025 — ▒▒▒dreamRAM▒▒▒::newfangled verses is the Museum of Wild and Newfangled Art's fourteenth exhibition. Developed during a three-month residency hosted by Loop Art Critique, the exhibition presents immersive, multidimensional environments that explore the spatial web. Artworks made during the residency are minted to mowna's objkt Gallery. Artists experimented with AI, 3D, XR, and generative systems to push beyond conventional digital practice.

The critique was led by mowna co-founder and curator joey zaza, and the residency explored the post-flat plane of creation. "Artists built systems that regenerate, fracture, and mutate as they are experienced, sculpting layers, raw states, and editable architectures. Feedback loops, visual noise, and digital residues became creative materials, forming interactive verses that collapse human, machine, and organic logics into a shared, living world," said joey zaza.

"This residency allowed our artists to work as a cohort for over ten weeks together with joey's guidance to create, critique, and dream. The outcome is a testament to an equitable community based supportive critical process with the end goal to pay artists. This is mowna's mission realized," said cari ann shim sham*, co-founder and curator for mowna.

Step into the collapsing layers of reality where perception leaks, folds, and regenerates. ▒▒▒dreamRAM▒▒▒::newfangled verses invites you to traverse spaces where the digital, organic, and speculative converge. Here, light fractures into code, sound mutates into texture, and gestures ripple across dimensions unseen. Each verse is a portal, a synaptic echo of what might exist if cognition were allowed to grow beyond its anthropocentric confines.

Let yourself dissolve into post-flat architecture, trace the loops and feedback ghosts, and let your perception be rewritten. In this exhibition, the act of viewing is co-creation: you are not a spectator, but a node in a network of thought, touch, and transmission. Each interaction leaves a trace, each gaze contributes to the unfolding intelligence of the spatial web. Immerse, mutate, and witness newfangled consciousness in motion.

As part of its commitment to longterm support, ▒▒▒dreamRAM▒▒▒::newfangled verses returns six artists to mowna. Six artists are releasing their genesis artorks on the Tezos blockchain.

Nina Sobell's "GammaTime in (R)VERSE" unfolds as a mesmerizing intersection of EEG-driven interaction and virtual sculpture. "Alien Tendril Bloom" emerges as a hybrid organism; part brain, part flower, part deep-sea creature. While "Cultivating Thought" treats cognition itself as an evolving plant, rooting thought in the body and the earth. Sobell, alongside collaborators Naz Karagöz and Ed Bear, demonstrates that the brain and environment exist in a constant, interactive dialogue.

Jessica Sharpe's "The Hesitant Bloom Holds Back Oblivion" conjures a mechanical flower whose petals open at the cusp of night, looping between fragility and resilience. Its clockwork cadence suspends the viewer in a liminal space where myth, prophecy, and machine intelligences entwine.

arbstein's "zylheaum" envisions an ecosystem of abstract plant-like forms that awaken in quiet afternoon light, drifting through imagined spaces with contemplative agency. Linda Loh's "Dizzy Gall" morphs rust fungus into a spinning, 3D digital sculpture, cloaked in fantastical colors, suggesting the emergence of strange new flora in augmented reality.

Jiatong Yao's "Hybrid Seed-X" balances radiating spikes and floating rings in a soft, organic sculpture, offering a virtual landmark in undefined terrain. Michael Lewy's "Cyclops" transforms a stop-motion puppet into a GLB model; a spectral relic from forgotten worlds, bridging handmade artifacts and digital memory. Uli Ap / Alien AI's "Silver Alien AI in a New EEG Skin with Red Electrodes" dons an electronic skin, responding to human emotion while bending the rules of perception.

Sahar Moussavi's "The Alchemist's Dream" reinterprets childhood drawings into AI-assisted 3D forms, weaving personal narrative into futuristic, tactile spaces. connectedoom's "IN TROUBLE I REST" emerges from the soil of digital improvisation, a work guided by elemental and relational forces.

Rangga Purnama Aji's "Crumpled Diorama" transforms crumpled plastic bags into a temporary virtual cave, reflecting on material agency and hybrid ecologies. While Linxirwengi conjures domestic architecture as immersive meditation in "Sketch of Selubung Rumah.

hamsa fae's "YEAR OF THE SNAKE" uses an AI twin, Faet, to explore online desire economies and the erasure of trans women. The work reclaims the "doll" as both an object of desire and self-possessed femininity, with a live performance of R U REAL?

As you emerge from these multidimensional verses, remember that no object, no thought, no signal is fixed. Every interaction in ▒▒▒dreamRAM▒▒▒::newfangled verses ripples outward, leaving traces across time, space, and consciousness. The work of these artists is not a presentation but a continuum, an invitation to inhabit systems that breathe, mutate, and respond. Their creations are living archives, each artwork, each spatial form, a node in an ever-expanding network of imagination.

Explore the exhibition online at mowna.org, attend the spatial web exhibition opening in Loop on December 5, 2025 at 12 PM ET, or acquire minted artworks through the mowna objkt gallery. Your participation helps preserve the artwork, provides income for the artists, and extends the reach of newfangled perception into worlds yet unformed. The future of immersive art is now, alive in every pulse, every tilt, every unfolding layer of the spatial web.

About Loop Art Critique

Loop Art Critique (LAC) merges the concept of gesamtkunstwerk with digital and traditional art critique, inspired by historic salons. It fosters deep, artist-to-artist conversations through a jury-selected process which focuses on art not artist backgrounds. Over ten weeks, these discussions lead to a joint curatorial project, contrasting with shallow social media exchanges. LAC promotes privacy and meaningful interaction, reinventing digital art critique in a secure, supportive community space.

Members of the museum enjoy benefits such as entry to exhibitions, access to the museum's digital art collection, and other perks. Support for mowna via membership can be found at https://www.mowna.org/members
