The Museum of Wild and Newfangled Art is dedicated to storing artworks so that they can be preserved for future enjoyment and use.
Digital collections are backed up and stored in multiple locations.
mowna's collection consists of art that is shared digitally with the museum by the artists we curate. Artists retain all rights to the artwork and may remove their work from the collection at any time. The collection is visible to members only. It is a resource of digital art for the world to use for education, enjoyment, and research. It is also a way that the museum is of service to our artists; we provide a storage space for their work beyond their personal archive and we give all artists in the collection a lifelong membership to the museum and its collection.
The collection will be first available for viewing on April 30, 2021 at the conclusion of the mowna Opening Show.
